School Mission
The
new horizon Arabic school®
will provide
an opportunity to our younger generation to learn Arabic language
and other cultural aspects related to our community.
The school will provide a high quality education in a fun and
attractive environment which will
enrich their cultural heritage.
The children will be divided into multiple levels based on
their age and skills. The advanced students will have the
opportunity to be role
models and leaders to the beginners.
Upon graduation our
kids will enjoy bilingual skills which deepen their cultural
background
School structure
For the inaugural school year, the school provides Arabic classes
exclusively. Classes
include beginners and intermediate levels.
In the future
new horizon school
will add an advanced level.
In addition, the curriculum will include several electives
related to Arabic culture and history.
The classes for this year consist of 2-hour sessions supervised by a
certified teacher assisted by
two assistant teachers in each class.
The classes will be held 4.30pm-6.30pm and offered twice weekly.
The current academic
year starts on the first week of October
2009 and continues through mid May 2010.
